Our main goal as a N.G.O. is to increase knowledge and understanding of the processes of abuse and addiction through evidence-based training.

The University of Addictions was founded in 2000. Click HERE to browse the University of Addictions pages! You will find dates for the Spring and the Autumn Sessions, the Programs Offered for each year, participation conditions, as well as enrollment contacts for participation. The University pages also contain very useful downloads such as the National Program, BG Regulations, etc.
We are pleased to announce accreditation of the University of Addictions by the Bulgarian Medical Union. The University was recognized in 2005 as the supreme training program in the field of substance abuse and addictions in Bulgaria. Participation in the University of Addictions earns continuing medical education credit points for Post Diploma Studies.
In September 2004, we published the Book "Abuse and Addictions to Psychoactive Substances" by Igor Koutzenok with a special chapter by Georgi Dimitrov "Control of Usage and Drug Testing". Click HERE to learn more about the book and how to obtain a copy.
